Vimmerby is a charming little town with many wooden houses and a pleasant market square. In the summer months, about 500,000 visitors will travel from all around to see Astrid Lindgren’s World. The area of Northeastern Småland is lovely with an abundance of lakes, forests, preserves and National Parks, all in close distance. Also, just outside the town, you can find the “real” Katthult, Bullerby, the Kid’s Film-House in Mariannelund and much much more!
